| Description: | Thompson Engineering has an immediate career opportunity in our Knoxville, TN office for a Level II CE&I Insepector. This position is responsible for the daily inspection, testing, and reporting of highway and/or bridge construction operations. |
| Duties: | Responsibilities include the construction inspection, testing, and reporting of DOT highway and bridge construction project operations. General oversight of earthwork placement and testing, subgrade and base inspection and testing. |
| Qualifications: | 5 or more years construction inspection experience on TDOT roadway and/or bridge projects. Must have 3 years direct inspection experience, a thorough knowledge of TDOT inspection, sampling, testing and reporting procedures. ACI certification is required. TDOT Asphalt Roadway, Asphalt Plant, Soils & Aggregates, EPSC Level 1 are preferred. |
