| Description: | This position is responsible for the testing of construction materials on construction sights and in a laboratory setting. |
| Duties: | Utilizes a 40 lbs gauge to run tests on construction materials.
Obtain concrete samples from vehicles.
Make concrete test cylinders.
Run tests on concrete samples.
Delivers concrete samples to lab.
Observe construction crews performing related construction activities.
Records construction crew performance data.
Interact with client and contractor.

| Qualifications: | HS degree or equivalent. Two years construction and soils experience. Must have Radiation Safety Certification and no less than ACT Level I Certification. Prefer previous roadway experience.
TDOT Asphalt Roadway, Asphalt Plant, Soils & aggregates, EPSC Level 1, NICET construction materials preferred. |
