| Duties: | This position provides engineering and plan review services to a State Transportation agency. Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: reviewing engineering designs and specifications using good engineering and constructability review practices with limited supervision. Able to work with contractors/subcontractors and design consultants as requested by Thompson Engineering or the State agency project managers, engineers, etc. |
| Qualifications: | PE in Civil Engineering in MS or the ability to obtain a MS PE. The following qualifications are desirable: 5 or more years in review of plans working directly for a State Transportation agency, college training or OJT traning in the use of Microstation design software; ability to communicate well with staff, clients, vendors, etc.; experience with civil engineering/design/construction activities, including preparation of plans, specifications, and technical documents. |
