| Description: | Thompson Engineering is currently receiving resumes based upon anticipated project work that has been discussed by ALDOT. Thompson Engineering is developing a database of personnel from around the state of Alabama, that meet the technical requirements of this work. When there is more certainty to the expected contract, we will then begin the actual interview process.

| Duties: | Responsibilities include the construction inspection, testing, and reporting of DOT highway and bridge construction project operations. General oversight of earthwork placement and testing, subgrade and base inspection and testing. |
| Qualifications: | Relevant experience in DOT highway and bridge construction inspection. Good communication and mathematical skills. Have the ability to read and understand plans, specifications and testing requirements. Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team, be self motivated and confident, possess good computer skills, have a willingness to travel when required and work overtime. |
