| Description: | Thompson Engineering is currently receiving resumes based upon anticipated project work that has been discussed by TDOT. Thompson Engineering is developing a database of personnel that meet the technical requirements of this work. When there is more certainty to the expected contract, we will then begin the actual interview process.

| Duties: | Responsibilities include the construction inspection, testing, and reporting of DOT highway and bridge construction project operations. General oversight of earthwork placement and testing, subgrade and base inspection and testing. |
| Qualifications: | Three years of transportation construction and testing experience. General oversight of earthwork placement and testing, subgrade and base inspection and testing experience. Must have relevant DOT and/or affilliated certifications and general knowledge of the Specifications and Road and Bridge Construction and Design standards. Good reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Keen understanding of the DOT construction process. Ideal candidate would possess land survey experience, ability to work alone or as part of a team, self motivated and confident, possess good computer skills, willingness to travel when required and work overtime. |
